Service Agreement Terms (2024)
Client Requirements:
The client must provide detailed cleaning requirements in writing, either via email or text message.
Estimates may be given over the phone, but Babu Cleaning LLC requires an in-person inspection of the property’s condition before setting the final price. This ensures a fair price and avoids surprises during the service.
First Cleaning:
The first cleaning will be charged at double the regular price due to the additional effort required to establish an appropriate initial cleaning standard, which will be maintained in subsequent cleanings.
Requests for Additional Services:
If a client requests additional services not included in the initial agreement, these will be billed separately and must be paid immediately. All requests for additional services must be made in advance and will be considered extras, charged accordingly.
Scheduling and Accessibility:
The client is responsible for scheduling cleaning appointments according to the agreed frequency and ensuring access for the cleaning staff at the agreed time. This includes providing access codes or keys as necessary. If access is not provided, the service may be canceled, and the full service charge may be applied.
Cancellations, Modifications, and Frequency Changes:
Any cancellations or modifications to the contracted services must be communicated with at least 24 to 48 hours’ notice. If notice is given outside of this timeframe, an additional fee may be applied.
If the client changes the agreed service frequency (e.g., cancels for a month or more, or reduces the frequency of cleanings), the next cleaning will be charged as a deep cleaning or as a first cleaning due to the additional effort required to restore the property to its usual standard of cleanliness.
Payment Terms
Residential Services: All residential services must be paid within 7 days of the service being performed. If payment is not made within this period, a late fee will be applied according to Colorado law, which caps the late fee at the greater of $50 or 5% of the overdue amount. If payment is delayed by more than 30 days, this fee will continue to accumulate.
Remodeling and Construction Services: All work related to remodeling or construction must be paid within 7 days of the invoice being sent. If payment is not made within this period, the same late fee policy applies as outlined for residential services.
Commercial Services: Commercial services typically involve long-term contracts. Payments are made monthly or as agreed in the contract. Rates are reviewed annually and may be adjusted according to inflation, minimum wage increases, or other operating costs.
Late Payment Fees:
If the client does not make the payment within the established timeframe, additional services will be suspended until payment is received. Additionally, any work requested outside of the initial agreement will be billed separately and must be paid before the project is completed. According to Colorado law, the late fee cannot exceed the greater of $50 or 5% of the overdue amount.
Annual Rate Update:
Starting each fall, Babu Cleaning LLC will review and, if necessary, adjust the rates for all our services. This annual update ensures that our rates accurately reflect changes in operational costs, inflation, and other relevant economic factors. Clients will be notified well in advance of any changes to the rates for the upcoming year, ensuring transparency and allowing for proper planning of their cleaning services.
